Senior Tax Manager OMBs, Moore Stephens, London

Moore Stephens LLP are looking to recruit a senior manager. The role offers a competitive salary, along with a wide ranging flexible benefits package. There is also a genuine opportunity for a strong performer to make associate within 18 to 20 months.
The role is within the OMB team and will include high-level advisory work, bespoke tax planning and consulting, dealing with inquiries and assisting the partners and other senior managers with large scale project work.

Assist in the provision of planning and advisory work for OMB clients.
Manage and co-ordinate the provision of tax compliance services for a portfolio of clients as required.
Responsible for controlling WIP on allocated jobs, including billing and debt collection.
Build and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues within the firm.
Provide direction and support to junior members of staff in respect of all aspects of consultancy work.
Participate in the recruitment of new staff, appraisal and provision of feedback to existing staff and in the development of staff, as required.
Develop/maintain areas of specialisation as agreed with the partners.
Prepare and present and/or assist in the preparation of external/internal presentations and training courses.
Prepare technical material such as Factsheets and articles.
Assist partners with project/consultancy work.
Assist in marketing initiatives, such as the preparation of Factsheets, tendering to prospective clients etc, as required.
Maintain awareness of UK taxation developments and other relevant taxation and accountancy developments.
ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent or have commensurate professional experience.
CTA qualification desirable, but not essential.
Proven relevant experience with a UK OMB portfolio.
Strong technical skills.
